Dr. Cunningham completed medical training in the UK and a PhD at Queen Mary, University of London, studying factors influencing treatment response in chronic hepatitis C infection, before moving to Toronto for a Fellowship in Advanced Clinical Hepatology. She is currently an Assistant Professor, University of Toronto and Staff Hepatologist at Toronto Centre for Liver Disease.
